What an incredible honor to have live in a lifetime to learn about Representative John Lewis. Growing up in Chicago as a little girl, I was always intrigued with Black History and especially Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., not knowing that the young man in the infamous picture deemed "Bloody Sunday" was known other than Mr. John Lewis. I am proud to be an african-american and to have this rich history and to have learned about another Civil Rights Icon & Pioneer. His words of fight and to do what's right coupled with his slogan "Good Trouble" will last another lifetime in hearts of those who want to do right. I salute you Representative John Lewis for your untiring dedication to the Nation and to doing what's right, I know God is truly pleased with you! Rest in Heaven with all of your loved ones, you have passed the torch to the younger generation. Thank you to his family for sharing all of the special tributes with the world!!!

Today, as you make that spiritual transition, the black struggles resonate with your generation struggles.I have searched my soul , to mortslize the bravery you men and women had to have had, to know what you would be facing ,leading the fight for respect and rights ,equality and humanity, and the women bracing themselves for that call that will determine they and their children's fate, because of you I have committed my life to speak the truth in the face of adversity, And even in the shadows of death, I claim this too shall pass.
Rest IN Peace, Perfect Peace.

We have had many great leaders yet some have not made their voice and opinion consistent throughout their lives as this man has .He is now among the greatest and although he will be missed let us remember how these men fought for us and tried to bring us together. They showed the true meaning of Black Lives Matter let us not forget .Peace Mr.John Lewis

Congressman Lewis certainly lived his life to make life better for others. I thank God for using him as a Servant Leader to made America a better place. I have been in his presence several times in the Atlanta area, DC and at the DNC Conventions. I was always in awe of his energy, kindness and steadfastness. My prayers and thanks to his family for generously sharing him with the world.
Romans 14:7-9
7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Thank you God for choosing Congressman John Robert Lewis to show the world your agape love, and how to preserve in the midst of adverse and sinful circumstances. He was a TRUE leader. His moral compass, courageous, and humble spirit has transformed the lives of many; and will continue to awaken the consciousness of generations yet to come. He is now in his forever home (eternity), with our Almighty God, and those who went before him. No more troubles of this world. Rest Congressman Lewis, you fought to the very end. Your deeds and voice echo throughout America and the world!
